Batterie

Der Akku ist herausnehmbar.
Der Kahe POD mit Lichtbatterie ist in Flugzeugen zugelassen (in der Kabine für die Batterie).
Der Pro-Akku ist in Flugzeugen nicht erlaubt.

Lithium-Ionen-Technologie, LG Chem 21700-Zellen (wie Tesla).

Für Sessions von bis zu 2 Stunden bei laufendem Motor mit dem Light-Akku, bis zu 4 Stunden mit dem Pro-Akku.

Eine vollständige Aufladung dauert etwa 3 Stunden.

Wartung und Garantie

Der Kahe POD ist leicht zu warten. Hier sind einige Empfehlungen zur Pflege und Vermeidung von Verletzungen:

Vermeiden Sie Hitze und setzen Sie den Kahe POD und seine Batterie keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung aus.
Trennen Sie die Batterie, wenn der Kahe POD nicht verwendet wird.
Spülen Sie das gesamte Produkt nach jeder Sitzung mit sauberem (salzfreiem) Wasser ab. Trocknen Sie das Produkt vor dem Öffnen gründlich ab.
Die elektrische Unterstützung des Kahe POD ist mit einer Intelligenz ausgestattet, die im Falle eines Sturzes den Antrieb automatisch unterbricht.
Bringen Sie Ihre Hände oder andere Gegenstände nicht in die Nähe des Propellers.

Die gesetzliche Konformitätsgarantie beträgt 2 Jahre für das gesamte Produkt (elektrische Unterstützung, Fernbedienung und Batterie).

Aufblasbares Paddel

Wenn Ihr Schlauchboot nicht mit einer Standard-Schiebefinnbox oder einer US-Finnbox ausgestattet ist, können Sie ganz einfach eine kompatible Finnenhalterung an Ihr Schlauchboot (Mitte) kleben und dabei die hintere Finne in ihrer Finnenbox belassen.

Dieser Vorgang ist einfach und kann selbst durchgeführt werden (Kleben mit PVC-Kleber). Wir verkaufen ein Kit inklusive der passenden Halterung und PVC-Kleber!

Moteur monté sur kayak I trek14 de chez Hobby

C'est mon deuxième moteur, le premier perdu en mer par ma faute. Celui ci réceptionné avec la montre déjà connectée au moteur. Toujours très content de la performance et de la facilité d'utilisation.

Kayakant souvent seul avec Kayak de randonnée je ne pouvais pas naviguer trop sur des rivières ou fleuves en descente car personne pour me remonter
Le POD 160 me permet de remonter a contre courant pour redescendre ensuite.
Attention toutefois, sa puissance d’assistance a ses limites.
Pour le moment je suis satisfait.
La batterie Pro est intéressante pour l’autonomie.

Kayak Seawave Gumotex avec Kahe pod

j'ai installé sur mon kayak le support PVC pour monter un kahe pod. J'ai dû chauffer le support avec un thermique pour lui donner la forme de mon kayak et le coller avec une colle spéciale hypalon sur les conseils avisés de Nicolas Quendez. Pour un premier essai, avec 2 personnes et quelques bagages soit environ 150kg de charge sur un kayak de 4,50m nous avons parcouru 6,9 km en 2 heures en 1ère vitesse et il restait 1 barrette d'allumée sur la batterie. Je suis pleinement satisfait et même surpris par la performance. Je recommande sans problème.

Float tube avec KAHE POD

J’ai adapté le POD sur ou plutôt sous mon float tube grâce à une platine collée (idem paddle itiwi) sous le float au niveau de l’assise, Il passe nickel sous l’embarcation et il ne touche pas le sol lors du transport. Une fois dans l’eau le produit fait le job sans problème avec trois vitesses réglables à souhait via l’application dédiée (dérive parfaite pour la verticale). Pour se diriger il suffit de se pencher d’un côté ou de l’autre, ou de gérer avec les palmes.Pas de batterie à porter, pas de câbles et une autonomie suffisante pour de belles sessions. Bref, une installation light et efficace avec un coût modéré. Nicolas de chez KAHE vous rencardera pour tous renseignements avec gentillesse ! Belle innovation, produit bluffant.

Great addition to an inflatable kayak (itiwit x100)

I have a two person Dechatlon itiwit x100 and I recently also purchased this motor at Dechatlon (it's the same motor, just sold under Dechatlon brand). I kayak on the canals in Amsterdam and I wanted something to help me be a bit faster (x100 is very nice and stable inflatable, but due to the wide and stable hull it's a bit slow) and to offset the wind a bit (here it's very rare to have a calm day and quite strong wind is very common).

I tried different motor positions, but since I paddle myself, sit in the back and I'm also on the heavy side, motor doesn't really work well in the center front fin position since front part of the boat sticks out of the water.

Aft right fin position works fine and it doesn't affect tracking much even though it's installed on the side and not in the center (you are constantly pedaling and as such adjusting the boat position as well).

Having said that, in the future I will likely still purchase a glue on fin adapter and install it in the middle close to the aft of the boat.

So far the motor has been great and exactly what I hoped for / expected.

I will be able to provide a better feedback on the battery life once I will have more chance to test it under different settings and conditions.

I also interacted with the Kahe support a bit here and they have been fast, efficient and friendly👍

P.S. If you want to use this electric assist motor and sail and moor in Amsterdam, make sure you apply for and pay for a yearly green vignette / permit.
