1. Why this recall?
This replacement reflects our desire to go beyond the mandatory standards applicable to batteries.
Analyses show that contact with seawater can, under certain conditions, lead to a risk of battery combustion. These conditions can result in particular from:
- or use that does not comply with safety instructions (e.g. handling the battery with wet hands, opening the Kahe Pod without first drying it, or storing it in a humid environment, etc.),
- or a loss of watertightness of the device (e.g. crack after impact).
Although these cases remain extremely rare, we have decided to take immediate preventive action to eliminate any risk to our users.
As a precaution, we have decided to replace all affected batteries free of charge .
2. Which products are affected?
- ✅ Batteries for Kahe POD 160 (formerly Kahe POD) purchased before 12/31/2024 (blue batteries)
- ❌ Not affected: Kahe POD 160 batteries purchased in 2025 (black batteries)
3. What should I do?
- Stop using your Kahe POD or Kahe POD 160 immediately.
- Take the blue battery to an approved recycling center (waste disposal center)

3. Send us the deposit certificate (document provided by email).
4. What will I receive?
A new, latest-generation battery , fully secure and efficient. 👉 Delivery expected from January 2026 .
5. Will I pay anything?
No. The operation is completely free : transport, replacement, possible revision.
6. What happens if I don't change my battery?
For your safety, we ask that you immediately stop using your Kahe POD (160) until the battery has been replaced.
⚠️ Using the product before replacement poses a safety risk. Kahe disclaims any warranty in the event of use not in accordance with this safety recommendation.
7. When will I receive my new battery?
Production is underway. Deliveries will begin in January 2026. You will be regularly informed by email about the progress.
