Maintenance and warranty
The Kahe POD 600 is easy to maintain.
Here are some recommendations for taking care of it and avoiding injury:
- Avoid heat, do not leave the Kahe POD out of the water in direct sunlight for too long.
Rinse the entire product with clean (unsalted) water after each session. - The Kahe POD electric assistance is equipped with intelligence to automatically cut off propulsion in the event of a fall.
- Do not bring hands or any object near the propeller .
The legal conformity guarantee is 2 years for the entire product (electric assistance, remote control and battery).

Kahe PODs are equipped with a remote control that easily attaches to any paddle or wrist.

Unsinkable design
The Kahe POD floats, preventing any risk of loss and making it easy to retrieve, even in rough conditions. This is an essential asset for worry-free use regardless of the activity.
The Beacon
The beacon is an innovative wireless kill switch. If a crew member or child falls into the water, it automatically shuts off the boat's engine .
This system can be fitted to every person on board, providing additional safety.
100% waterproof integrated battery
The 420 Wh 100% waterproof (IPX8) battery is integrated directly into the POD 600, thus offering a compact, high-performance and secure solution . It is composed of the best cells on the market, signed LG, ensuring an optimal lifespan and offering up to 10 hours of autonomy.
Kahe Mobile App
All KAHE engines can, if you wish, be connected to your smartphone via our mobile application with which you can stop or start the engine, adjust speeds, precisely monitor the autonomy of your POD and choose from various usage options.
The application also allows you to connect a second motor to double your power and range in Bi-Propulsion configuration.
Is my boat compatible with the POD 600?
Inflatable paddle
If your inflatable boat is not equipped with a standard sliding fin box or a US fin box it is very easy to glue a compatible fin mount to your inflatable boat (center) while leaving the fin at the back in its fin box.
This operation is simple and can be done yourself (gluing with PVC glue). We sell a kit including the compatible support and PVC glue!

Boats with US box fin boxes are directly compatible.
For rotomolded rigid kayaks or SUPs (BIC sport, Tahe Outdoor, Rotomod type RTM, etc.), we sell a fixing kit with waterproof self-drilling inserts.
