The Kahe POD has a high-speed propeller. It is fully shrouded for maximum protection, but special care is still required to avoid injury.

• Never put fingers, body parts or objects into the propulsion.
• Tie back long hair to prevent it from getting tangled in the propeller.
• Be sure to turn off the remote control before any intervention (e.g. cleaning algae).
• For your safety, the propeller stops automatically within seconds out of the water.
• Starting is only possible with the remote control switched on + pressing the button.

General security

• Respect local navigation rules.
• The remote control must always remain on the user (it acts as a circuit breaker).
• In paddle/kayak: do not go too far and always have a paddle to return without a motor, you must always be able to return to a bank without the help of the electric motor.
• Use a leash for the boat or paddle.
• For the POD160 snorkeling version, in underwater scooter mode, you must use the leash supplied with the handle to avoid the risk of losing the Kahe POD
  

Children

• Not recommended for children under 16.
• Regardless of age: adult supervision required.
• Check that the boat and motor are in perfect condition and that the child has understood the safety rules.
  

BATTERY HANDLING

• The battery must not come into contact with water under any circumstances. Never handle it with wet hands and never use it near a water source.
• Never deform, modify, disassemble, puncture, crush, short-circuit the contacts, expose to temperatures above 60°C or incinerate the battery.
• Never drop the battery or subject it to strong shocks.

In case of contact with water, shock, or if one of the above instructions has not been followed, the battery may present a risk of overheating or fire:

• Stop using it immediately: do not attempt to recharge or reuse it.
• Place it in a safe, dry, non-flammable place and dispose of it immediately at an approved waste disposal or recycling center.

HANDLING OF THE KAHE POD / KAHE POD 160 all versions

• Never drop or subject the Kahe POD to strong impacts. This may damage the product, compromise its waterproofing, or cause the battery to overheat, rupture, or catch fire.
• Never expose the interior of the Kahe POD to fresh or sea water.
• Only open the waterproof compartment in a completely dry environment, with dry hands, make sure that both you and the Kahe POD are completely dry before accessing the battery compartment.

If water accidentally gets inside the Kahe POD: Stop using the device immediately.

• If a battery is inside, follow the instructions in the "BATTERY HANDLING" section: disposal at an authorized recycling or treatment center will be required immediately. If any part of the Kahe POD is damaged or broken, stop using it immediately and contact the brand's customer service.

2 years on manufacturing defects.

Warranty Exclusions:

• failure to comply with safety instructions,
• improper use (e.g. maximum depth not respected, unintended boat, handling the battery with wet hands, etc.),
• professional use or rental.
• shocks, falls, vandalism, accidents,
• lack of maintenance,
• repair/modification by an unauthorized third party,
• normal wear and tear (propeller, bearings, anode, battery which loses performance over time).
