The battery is removable.
The Kahe POD with Light battery is authorized on airplanes (in the cabin for the battery).
The Pro battery is not allowed on airplanes.
Lithium-ion technology, LG chem 21700 cells (same as Tesla).
For sessions of up to 2 hours with the engine running with the Light battery, up to 4 hours with the Pro battery.
A full charge takes about 3 hours.

Caution! The POD does not float in PRO configuration. It floats in Light configuration.

If your inflatable boat is not equipped with a standard sliding fin box or a US fin box it is very easy to glue a compatible fin mount to your inflatable boat (center) while leaving the fin at the back in its fin box.
This operation is simple and can be done yourself (gluing with PVC glue). We sell a kit including the compatible support and PVC glue!

For rotomolded rigid kayaks or SUPs (BIC sport, Tahe Outdoor, Rotomod type RTM, etc.), we sell a fixing kit with waterproof self-drilling inserts.
