The Kahe POD has a high-speed propeller. It is fully shrouded for maximum protection, but special care is still required to avoid injury.

• Never put fingers, body parts or objects into the propulsion.
• Tie back long hair to prevent it from getting tangled in the propeller.
• Be sure to turn off the remote control before any intervention (e.g. cleaning algae).
• An additional protective grille is available (delivered by default with the snorkeling handle).
• The propeller stops automatically within seconds out of the water.
• Starting is only possible with the remote control switched on + pressing the button.

General security

• Respect local navigation rules.
• On a boat: the remote control must always remain on the user (it acts as a circuit breaker).
• Possibility of using a safety beacon if the remote control must remain on the tiller.
• In paddleboard/kayak: always have a paddle to return without a motor, always be able to return to a bank without assistance from the electric motor.

Children

• Not recommended for children under 16.
• Regardless of age: adult supervision required.
• Check that the boat and motor are in perfect condition and that the child has understood the safety rules.
  

HANDLING THE KAHE POD 600

• Never deform, modify, disassemble, pierce, crush, expose to temperatures above 60°C, or incinerate your Kahe POD 600.

• Never drop or subject the Kahe POD 600 to violent shocks.
• Never open or attempt to open the Kahe POD 600: this will void any warranty and damage the product.
• Only use official components supplied by Kahe (screws, plastic parts, nuts, chargers, propellers, etc.).
Any other use or modification not in accordance with this manual may damage the product, compromise its waterproofing or cause the battery to overheat, rupture or catch fire.

If you suspect that water has entered the Kahe POD (due to breakage, cracking, or loss of waterproofing), or if any of the above instructions have not been followed, the battery may present a risk of overheating or fire:
• Stop using the device immediately.
• Contact Kahe customer service immediately.

If any part of the Kahe POD is damaged or broken, stop using it and contact customer service.

Guarantee

2 years on manufacturing defects.

Warranty exclusions in the event of:

• failure to comply with safety instructions,
• product opening (front warhead),
• misuse,
• professional use or rental.
• improper use (e.g. depth > 5 m, unintended vessel),
• shocks, falls, vandalism, accidents,
• lack of maintenance,
• repair/modification by an unauthorized third party,
• normal wear and tear (propeller, bearings, anode, battery which loses performance over time).
